Our timber is professionally processed through sawing, machining, air-drying or kiln drying, and is readily available ex stock for rapid delivery. All of our wood comes with full technical back-up too. We are delighted to be able to offer our own in-house structural grading service, which ensures that we supply our customers with the finest timber products. By sourcing only the very best oak, hardwood and timber we have built up an enviable reputation within the industry for quality, something we take great pride in. At Border Hardwood we can even machine your timber so that it is ready for its end use - all you have to do is submit a list of particular sizes for us to cut to. Our 76mm x 76mm x 12mm 3 ply carbonless thermal rolls are the perfect solution for when duplicate copy receipts are required, or printing in triplicate is essential for archiving purposes. Suitable for most popular brands of thermal docket and receipt printers, our 3 ply carbonless rolls provide a white master copy and an identical yellow AND pink copy of every receipt or docket printed. Available in boxes of 50 rolls, our 76mm x 76mm x 12mm 3 ply carbonless rolls are the same, top quality, Australian made thermal rolls as are all our thermal POS and EFTPOS rolls, so you can buy with confidence. Like all our paper rolls, our 3 ply carbonless rolls are made from premium grade paper to minimise paper dust which can cause jamming in printing equipment, and offer 5 – 7 years’ durability against image loss with correct storage conditions - compared to 1 – 2 years maximum with inferior quality rolls - a very important factor to consider when archiving financial information.

3mm Plywood

This plywood is a functional grade material composed of birch from parts of Russia. The Baltic birch is graded as a B-BB, which means that one face, B, will be a whole face, no splices, have no patches (plugs that are used to cover defects) but may contain knot pattern or mineral streaks. The other face, BB, and the inner plies will contain patches and tight and not so tight knots. Baltic Birch Plywood is an excellent material for cabinet backs, drawer sides and bottoms, as well as jigs and fixtures and scroll saw work that will be painted.

Our wood windows are beautiful on the inside and Milgard tough on the outside. They feature a wood interior in pine or optional Douglas fir or primed wood. A new internal secure connecting system results in a pristine interior wood surface with no unsightly nail holes or staples, perfect for staining, sealing or painting. The outside is durable fiberglass. Compare this to conventional wood windows with their exposed wood exteriors. Not only is ours better protected on the outside, but we also have an advanced water management system that protects our wood interior and harmlessly drains away water in the rare event water enters the sash system.

Mahogany Wood

Mahogany varies from yellowish, reddish, pinkish, or salmon colored when freshly cut, to a deep rich red, to reddish brown as the wood matures with age. Mahogany is fine to medium texture, with uniform to interlocking grain, ranging from straight to wavy or curly. Irregularities in the grain often produce highly attractive figures such as fiddleback or mottle. Mahogany polishes to a high luster, with excellent working and finishing characteristics. It responds well to hand and machine tools, has good nailing and screwing properties, and turns and carves superbly. Mahogany is regarded by many as the world's premier wood for fine cabinetry, high-class furniture, trimming fine boats, pianos and other musical instruments, sculpture, joinery, turnery, figured and decorative veneer, interior trim, and carving.
