Solid Oak Fireplace Surrounds
This
is an example of a rustic solid oak fire surround finished in 2 coats of medium
oak wax. The edges have been slightly distressed to add character and give a
subtle "aged" look. Another example of a solid oak beam fire surround
in the rustic style. Again this one has chamfered edges and beams which have
been planed and sanded to a smooth finish and then 2 coats of clear wax finish
applied.
