Greenoak
houses people in housing need, and gives support to vulnerable people to help
them live independent lives in their own homes. We provide affordable housing
for people of all ages in Surrey, East and West Sussex. Many of our residents
come to us through local authority registers of those who need housing.
Greenoak operates housing registers only for retirement properties. It also
acts as agent for the resale of sheltered leasehold apartments. We are leaders
in environmental sustainability: A winner of the Housing Corporation's Gold
Award for Environmental Sustainability in 2007, Greenoak is at the forefront of
innovation with its Greenhomes model, a design which provides well designed
light and airy houses which minimises the environmental impact of housing. We
also received two national awards for sustainable development in 2010: 'Social
Housing Provider of the Year - Innovative Approach to Green Homes Award' and
low energy scheme of the year for our latest housing scheme.
