All premium quality firewood logs are ready to burn - no seasoning or storage required. Woodfuel supply kiln dried birch firewood logs, produced to Norwegian Standard NS4414, they are dried to less than 18% moisture and suitable for modern, efficient wood burning stoves and open fires. The combination of very low moisture and a clean burning wood species gives the highest quality firewood log.  Briquettes are made from ground, compressed sawdust and woodchips with no additions.  The lignin in the wood melts during compression and binds the sawdust into a very dense wood briquette. Wood briquettes are slightly higher in calorific value than firewood and a 10Kg pack gives almost the same heat output as a 15Kg net of logs.
